The International Conference of Revisited Asian Society on “Exlporation of Asian Indigeneous Perspective: Communalities and Differences“ aims to facilitate sharing concrete studies carried out in different areas or countries in Asia. The conference emphasizes not only descriptive approach but also practical approach to explore a new theoretical perspective and a new way of academic activities to bring mutual understanding of both communalities and differences among different societies in Asia to people whose historical and cultural backgrounds differ from each other.
The deadline for the abstract submissions is March 31, 2011. And the notification of the accepted abstract on April 11, 2011.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS The contributions can be submitted choosing one of the following five options: Free Contribution, Symposium, Thematic Discussion Groups and Poster Interactive Sessions (see below).
Symposia should at most last one and half an hour (1h30) and should not be composed of more than four communications.
A Free Communication should at most last twenty minutes (20mn). Abstracts can be submitted until the 31th of March 2011. And the notification of the accepted abstract on April 11, 2011
A scientific committee will assess the proposal and will decide whether the abstract is refused, accepted as it is or, if need be, with recommended modifications. A notification of the committee decision will be sent to applicants.
CONTRIBUTION TYPES*
The contributions can be submitted choosing one of the following five options: FC. Free Contributions: Individual free contributions, related to the general theme or the various sub-themes of the conference, should be submitted using the specific abstract form integrated in the registration procedure. The conference Scientific Committee may group the contributions of similar themes in the same session or may decide that a group of Free Contributions will be selected to form a Symposium, or a Thematic Discussion Group.
S. Symposia:
A Symposium consists of a set of contributions. The symposia should preferably focus on relevant theoretical issues regarding the theme of the conference. The organizer of the proposed symposium should select the participants, submit the proposal including the summary of the symposium, the names, the affiliation and the abstract of each contributor and using the abstract submission form integrated in the registration procedure. Presentations by interdisciplinary or inter-institutional teams are especially welcome.
TDG. Thematic Discussion Groups:
A Thematic Discussion Group consists of a set of contributions. The TDG will preferably be based on completed relevant research regarding the theme of the conference. The organizer of the proposed TDG will select the participants, submit the proposal including the summary of the TDG, the names, the affiliation and the abstract of each contributor and using the abstract submission form integrated in the registration procedure. Presentations by interdisciplinary or inter-institutional teams are especially welcome.
PIS. Poster Interactive Sessions:
A poster interactive session consists of individual contribution that each participant will submit using the specific abstract form integrated in the registration procedure following the Abstract Submission Guidelines. The conference Scientific Committee may group the contributions of similar themes in the same Poster Interactive Session.
For each one of the above four presentation types (FC, S, TDG, PIS), if the proposed contribution is accepted and the participant successfully registered, the author will also have to submit the full text of his/her individual contribution, prepared according to the Norms for Submission of Papers.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
The abstract must provide an idea on the aim(s) of the study, its theoretical framework, the hypotheses, the adopted methodology and the main obtained result(s). It must be almost 300 words, in Word format for Microsoft or Macintosh, in “Times New Roman” capital typeface, 12, adjusted, 1.5 line space with a 3 centimetres margin on the four sides. Three key-words must be indicated at the end.

If you are a symposium or a thematic discussion group, you are invited to send your abstract and those of the other participants in a grouped way. An abstract summarizing all the session must be proposed too. Every abstract should be sent according to the Guidelines available in the Submission section to revisited_asian_society.com using the Submission Template, or via the online submission system.
If you are participant in a symposium or in a thematic discussion group, you are invited to send your proposal to its organiser who will submit it simultaneously with his abstract and those of the other participants.
